Prabhas’ ‘Saaho’ finally gets a release date
Looks like Prabhas loves to keep his fans waiting. The Telugu star kept his fans wondering 'why Kattapa killed Baahubali' for about two years. And now, his fans, who have already waited for about a year, have to hold on for nine more months to see his ambitious project ‘Saaho’ in theatres.
It has been confirmed that the spy thriller will release on August 15, 2019. Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 300 crore. Earlier, the makers finished filming a schedule in Dubai, which was completed at the cost of Rs 75 crore.
Like Baahubali and 2.0, it is expected that ‘Saaho’ will also be a visual treat for the audience. Touted as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, ‘Saaho’ enjoys the services of Kenny Bates, who has choreographed action sequences for films like Transformers, Mission Impossible, Rush Hour and Armageddon.
‘Saaho’ marks the Bollywood debut for Prabhas and Telugu debut for Shraddha Kapoor. Prabhas will be dubbing his own dialogues in the Hindi version, while Shraddha’s voice will be dubbed by a professional artist. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Tinnu Anand, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar and Mandira Bedi are also part of the film.
